ABOUT Cindy Harvey

Cindy Harvey
I am a 42 year old mother of two amazing grown sons and I am currently living inside my own romance story. Nearly four months ago on the anniversary of the death of my cousin, whose death inspired Mississippi Intrigue and to whose memory the book is dedicated, FaceBook reunited me with my  More...

In mortality, each of us faces temptation. It is where we allow the allurement to lead us that decides our destiny and the fate of those who love us.

Often as we age, we find ourselves longing for the simplistic spark of our younger days. For Hunter Watson that desire would lead to a consequential decision to live with a heart divided - a choice that would lead him to suicide and leave the two women he loved questioning everything around them.

On August 5th 2002 my cousin, Robert Carlton "Carl" McIntosh took his own life one day after his 43rd birthday. This left me questioning what could be powerful enough to take a person to the place where suicide seems like the best option. From these questions grew the fictional story of Mississippi Intrigue.

I remembered simpler times, running barefoot through the woods to the river to love and play. From the moment I began reading, the story drew me in with magnetic force. It touched my emotions and my past. I look forward to the same passion in the author's next effort. woody. Anonymous
