During his business career he always had a dream to write books. This dream came into reality late 2010 when his first book was published.
Pertti’s first children’s books were published in 2014 and his main project has been the book series Lucy The Cat. Lucy The Cat is a Sacred Birman Cat and in this book series she tells about her busy and funny life with beautiful pictures and Lucy’s own words.

His 3 first books, published in 2010-2012, belong to Christian genre and are available only in Finnish.
As an author his main influences are classical writers like Leo Tolstoy, F. Dostoyevsky and Jane Austin, but he loves also J. K. Rowling, and The Holy Bible always influences him.
Pertti’s main sources of inspiration are his 4 lovely grand children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and the charming, cute Sacred Birman cat. You guessed, she is Lucy The Cat. And of course the world events have their impact in life and sometimes also in writing.
Pertti’s favorite hobbies are music, reading, movies, photography and traveling.

The photographs throughout the book are simply marvellous. Each ties into the pages written content and this made it easy for "The Little Lad" to follow the story.
Highly recommend this book - we both enjoyed it.

The story itself was pleasant to read. The English version has a nice cadence to it, almost lyrical.
Only suggestions is that the next edition might use a slightly smaller font so there aren't so many "widow pages" (pages with one or two lines and blankspace). That might simply be a problem with translating it.
There are one or two slightly awkward sentences (also likely due to translation) but nothing serious - the overall effect was like a nice European grandpa telling a story to his grandkids about his favorite cat.
I'd recommend it as is.

Those who know and love cats will recognize the gentle humor that infuses Lucy's sincere wish to be helpful in all situations.
I read the English translation, from Finnish, which was obviously written by someone whose first language is not English, although it is well done and easy to understand. This in itself I found charming. It may give parents an opportunity to introduce the concept of foreign language and translation to young children -- especially since the speaker is Lucy herself, a Finnish kitty and a real sweetheart.
