What is it?
  • A technology to help you schedule auto-tweets on Twitter in a way that does not irritate or annoy your followers.

Why do I need it?
  • Saves you time by creatively tweeting about your book through your Twitter account.

How do I set it up?
  1. Login to BookBuzzr.com.
  2. You will be redirected to 'Book Marketing Home' page.
  3. Click on your book title.
  4. Next, in the left side panel click on the option "BookBuzzr Book Tweeter".
  5. In the right side panel click on "Set Your Time Zone Now" and then select your time zone and click on "Next". You will be redirected to Twitter.com for verifying your twitter information.
  6. Provide your twitter user name/email and password and click on "Allow". (If you don't have a twitter-id you can sign up and create it one there). You will be redirected to "Book Marketing Home" page where you can set up 4 ways to market your book.
  7. Click on "Tweet about my book right now - This is a onetime tweet (takes about 1 minute)" which leads to a new page where you can see a default message. Click on "Tweet Now" option. A Tweet will be made in your Twitter-id.
  8. Next, click on "Tweet about my book when it's read by a minimum number of readers in a 24 hour period (takes about 5 minutes)" which leads to a new page where you can save/edit/add a new message. Clicking on the "Back" link goes back to 'Book Marketing Home' page.
  9. Click on "Tweet about my book daily or weekly (takes about 5 minutes)". It redirects to a page where you can select daily or weekly tweet and set the time for the tweets. Now click on "Save and Add Messages". It redirects to a page where you can save/edit/add a new message. Clicking on the "Back" link goes back to 'Book Marketing Home' page.
  10. Click on "Set up milestone-based tweets (takes about 2 minutes)". Here you can set up messages to tweet on each milestone (100, 1000, 10000).

Facebook Fan Page Widget

What is it?
  • A widget to help make your Facebook Fan Page look better and get more Facebook fans.

Why do I need it?
  • Provides tabbed design for better engagement with fans.
  • Increases the likelihood of more people "Liking" your page.
  • Increases the likelihood of people returning to your page.
  • Hiring a professional to build such a Fan Page would ordinarily cost an author at least a few hundred dollars.

How do I set it up?
  1. Login to your Facebook Account.
  2. In the same browser, open a new tab and login to your BookBuzzr account.
  3. You will be redirected to 'Book Marketing Home' page.
  4. Click on the option "Facebook AuthorPage Widget".
  5. You can also change the default theme settings by using the 'Change Theme' option.
  6. Next, click on "Preview & Share" on the top right hand corner to share your BookBuzzr AuthorPage Widget on your Facebook Fan Page.
  7. Next, click on "SHARE" in the popup window. Next, click on "Allow" in the "AuthorPage by BookBuzzr" permission request page (PLEASE NOTE: If this application is already allowed then this screen will not be shown and you can continue from step 8 onwards.)
  8. Then you will be taken to the AuthorPage by BookBuzzr page.
  9. Click on "Add to My Page" link in the left sidebar.
  10. Next, click on "Add to Page" button next to your page name.
  11. Then close the popup and click on "Account" in the top right hand corner.
  12. Select "Use Facebook as Page".
  13. Click on "Switch" button next to your page name.
  14. Now preview how your AuthorPage Widget will look by clicking on the "AuthorPage" link in the left side bar.
  15. If you would like to change the default landing page from 'Wall' to 'AuthorPage' then click on 'Edit Page' in the right hand side of the page.
  16. Now, select the default landing tab as 'AuthorPage' and click on 'Save Changes'.
  17. Next, copy the URL and paste in a different browser. You can see that by default it lands on the 'AuthorPage' tab or next time if you login to your fan Page then your default landing tab will be the 'AuthorPage' tab.

Amazon Sales Rank Alerts

What is it?
  • Tracks your Amazon sales rank and send you an email when your sales rank improves.
  • There are two types of BookBuzzr Amazon Alerts. You can choose either one or both of these alerts:
    1. Daily Alerts: These emails arrive once a day and give you information about how your book's sales rank has moved over the last 24 hours (records only positive changes... i.e. improvements in your sales rank. The bold numbers are the ranks indicating improvement.)
    2. Hourly Alerts: These emails arrive every time there is an improvement in your sales rank. If your sale rank gets worse, you won't receive an email (bad news can be demotivating for authors!)

Why do I need it?
  • Checking Amazon Sales Rank frequently can be a major time waster for most authors. BookBuzzr's Amazon Alerts tool saves you from the time-wasting grip of continually checking the Amazon sales rank. It sends you an email alert ONLY if your sales rank has improved. And it sends you a 'daily digest' with information about how your sales rank moved during each day. You can thus stay focused on your activities without breaking your flow, wasting time or having to feel de-motivated if you see that your sales rank has nose-dived.

How do I set it up?
  1. Login to http://www.bookbuzzr.com/.
  2. You will be redirected to the 'Book Marketing Home' page.
  3. Click on your subscribed book title.
  4. To set up Amazon Sales Rank Tracker click on 'BookBuzzr Amazon Alerts' in the left side bar.
  5. Next, on the right side panel enter the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) for your book.
  6. From the two types of BookBuzzr Amazon Alerts, choose either one or both of these alerts and click on update.
