She has captured the intrigues and strictures of this era beautifully. In her short novella she has managed to pack a story of thwarted love,impulsive decisions,risky assignations and enough heat to leave the reader gasping for breath, let alone her wonderful characters, Merrick and Miranda. I honestly wanted more and hope that their a future of more historical romances from Ms. Gill and we'll get to re-visit these characters.
