Surprises abound and eerie happenings begin to encompass our hero as heretofore undisclosed truths are revealed; all leading up to a surprising and very satisfactory ending.
The Author has spun his tale of Darley Dene with dexterity in this sometimes quite emotional journey back into the past, and produced a compulsively readable story, centred around a small array of splendidly described characters in a totally believable yet highly imaginative read.
