I am always looking for books to use in my elementary art room, but when I began searching for one dealing with the Art Element of Line, I couldn't really find what I needed. So I decided to give writing my own a shot. As I began writing my book, I was focused on incorporating the various types of lines that I wanted to show to my students. As I continued working on it, though, I realized that I needed to include some life lessons that I felt all children should know. The first is that being creative and trying new things should be fun (and even difficult at times). The second is that children should just be happy being themselves.
