Description
The Mayor's Wife is the story of Indigo Tate. She is young, 36, beautiful, groomed to succeed, married to the finest mayor in LA county, and stuck in the inner city. Having reconciled to that, Indigo's husband finds that in his pet project--the WORLDHUB incubator has been compromised. When he makes a fuss, he is assassinated. Indigo's world comes tumbling down. She becomes obsessed with finding who killed her husband, which thrusts her into the ruthlessness of a drug cartel bent on using Compton as the west coast distribution center. She fights to save her city, her children and her life with the only weapon she owns--her women's intuition.
