Description

~~The ghosts that wander among the living do not haunt in the traditional sense; instead, they plague the innocent with disease, deformity and addiction. And once a ghost finds its victim, it will haunt them for a lifetime... or kill them quickly.

After George gets ill, the dreams begin. Suppressed memories are triggered, allowing him to see ghosts, and a deeply buried instinct emerges. George finds out he can kill these monsters, and heal their victims. The ability to save lives is something George cannot ignore, but it soon becomes an obsession and begins to eat away at his sanity.

His quest for understanding leads him to new friends and allies, and exposes him to enemies he could have never imagined. In the end, can you really ever kill something that’s already dead?

"What Haunts Me was a mesmerizing introduction to George’s world. I’d strongly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys the dark of paranormal fiction." http://www.longandshortreviews.com/book-reviews/what-haunts-me-by-margaret-a-millmore/

5.0 out of 5 stars imaginative ghost story !!!, March 2, 2015

Fantastic story with lots of imagination. Every now and then you come across a book that portrays a common subject, but finds a new interesting way to spin it all. Those are the books I love to discover and this is one of them. The plot is fun and moves along at a great pace keeping you at the edge of your seat. This was one of those that was difficult to put down, and one I started it took me no time at all to finish it.

5.0 out of 5 stars An richly imagined world of ghosts and ghost killers, February 22, 2015
This review is from: What Haunts Me (Ghost Killer - Book I) (Kindle Edition)
What Haunts Me is a very well-written ghost story that brought to mind one of Charles Dickens’ worlds, even though it's contemporary. There’s something formal, classic, and almost nostalgic feeling about the story. It's unusually “clean”, or maybe just compared to everything I've read recently, as in no swearing or sex, which might really appeal to certain readers. I’m always on the lookout for errors, since I get a lot of my books from promotional sites, and this story has none...flawless!
