Description

A famous millionaire dies under mysterious circumstances in the Brooklyn ghetto. What it was that made him go to such a dangerous place at night remains a mystery. The only clue is a book, Mythical Creatures of Ancient Greece, left on his body and opened at a page on Chimera. Private detective Kevin Kris takes on the case, helped by Penny, his trusty assistant, and Michael, his best friend. They soon uncover a chain of bloody events shrouded in mystery from the past. Little by little the private detective and his friends discover the real truth hidden by the Man With No Face.

Ellis Cardwell's review

Couldn't put this down and finished it in about 4 hours. Such an imaginative story and beautifully written too. It is obvious how much time, effort an research has gone into writing this book. I'm not usually a fan of mystery novels, but with bits of Greek mythology thrown in and an unexpected ending, I loved this one. Also, a lovely message in the ending which I 100% believe in. I'd recommend this to anyone, even those who don't usually enjoy mystery novels, like me, just give this a chance, you'll love it too :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this so much I just could not put it down. I really felt that I was involved within the case and I did enjoy some of the riddles.
Well done Jake and Kate and I will look forward to reading more of your books.

A very interesting well written story. I'm usually really perspective when reading mystery books and figuring out who did the crime but this book had me guessing until the big reveal. Great job J.K Persy. Thanks for sending me a copy in exchange for a honest review.
