Mickey has been released from prison following a short sentence. He is homeless and broke and has known little else since he was sixteen. Forced to stay with a stranger, or sleep on the streets, Mickey is drawn into a drama which again threatens his liberty. In writing this book I've tried to highlight the difficulties faced by offenders on their release from prison, particularly when they've come from a challenging background.
