4.0 out of 5 stars A boy soldier's view, 23 Mar 2013
This review is from: Postcards From Berlin (Kindle Edition)

So many books about war are about the crash, bang, wallop of battle. This book is different. It deals with the end of the Second World War, how in the end Hitler was virtually relying on children to defend Berlin and one young reluctant soldier's attempt to put things right. He didn't believe in Hitler's views. He didn't want to fight. He didn't want to be dragged away from his family to serve with the Hitler Youth.
To say any more would reveal too many spoilers, but I would recommend this book. An excellent and thoughtful read.
