Since childhood, I have dreamt of becoming a NASA astronaut and finding a cure for cancer. Now, as a housewife and a stay-at-home mom, I pursue more realistic goals—like an undisturbed night’s sleep and a great cup of coffee. While enjoying the time I get to spend with my family, I was inspired to write "The Daily Hazards of a Middle Eastern Wife," which contains some of the more interesting issues regarding marriage in the Arab world.
