BORN 1969, ANN MORVEN is a Scottish author of extraordinary talent, described as the diva of the whodunit. She also writes romantic or inspiring short stories. Born to military parents in Glasgow, she is far travelled and has witnessed human frailty in many lands. Always entertaining, her writing reflects a sympathetic observation of people the world over. “We are God’s big joke,” she says. “Once you accept this, Life’s monsters shrink to a manageable size.” Happily married, with two children, three grandchildren, she lives in a forested suburb overlooking Perth, Western Australia. Hobbies: cooking, reading and family.
