AC Katt was born in New York City. She worked and raised four children in New Jersey. Now she and her wonderful husband live in New Mexico with “the cat.” Her only line of work now is weaving words into Katt’s Tales for her readers to enjoy and taking very good care of her owner, “the cat.”

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a 63 year old gradmother of nine. I live in beautiful New Mexico with my husband and Tigger the cat. I loved to write; I loved to read. I was born in Greewich Village in New York City and lived in New Jersey up until five years ago.

2. Describe your book ‘The Sarran Plague’ in 30 words or less.

A pediatrician, two aliens and a psychic cat save the universe while learning about each other and mating in Triad.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Making up a whole new world.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

The Classics, Jane Austen, the Brontes. When I was younger, Nancy Drew and Cherry Ames, I have always loved romance.

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

I use Freado, social media, and strategically placed ads.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

I read, I'm politically active and I spend time with friends.

7. What are you working on next?

I have a sequel to The Sarran Plague coming in February of 2014, in November of 2013 I have third in the Indiscreet Series coming out following A Matter of Trust and Jack's Back. It's called Cisco's Boy.
