Shalini Deb, born 7 January 1993, is an Indian author. She is the writer of the acclaimed novel 'The Valedictory Note' which also happens to be her debut novel. She is the only daughter of her family. Her father's name is Sandip Deb and her mother's name is Sampa Deb. She graduated from Sharda University (Greater Noida, India) and is an Electronic Engineer and currently pursuing M-Tech. She gives her credit for writing mostly to her mother, who also has a huge influence in her life.
