1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am very happily married to a wonderful man, Eric Green, and we have six grown children and twelve grandchildren.  Telling stories to my grandchildren is one of my all time favorite things to do, and was the inspiration for The Nana Files books.


2. Describe your book Nana And The Vampires in 30 words or less. 

Cindy and Becky are naïve and imaginative. They hear one unusual thing about the new neighbors, and quickly determine they are vampires! This story is about the power of friendship.


3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

I am new to writing and have a lot to learn about sentence structure, so editing was the hardest part.


4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

The most important book in my life is the Bible and I read it daily. I love the Odd Thomas books by Dean Koontz; I hope to develop characters as interesting and believable.


5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

I have a website, cyndygreenbooks.com and a Facebook page called The Nana Files and I advertise using these all the time. I also have joined quite a few book promotional sites that I found online. My husband is a very vocal supporter and promotes my book everywhere we go!


6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

When I am not writing, or working at the hospital, I am reading! I love to read and I finish several books each week.


7. What are you working on next?

I am currently finishing Nana and The Zombies, Book 2 in The Nana Files series. I have an idea for the third book, Nana and the Howling Brothers, but I have not started writing it yet.
