Interview

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I live in Hong Kong, which is really the best place ever. I have lived life precisely as I have wanted to, even when my choices seemed weird, bizarre and against the norm and have had a most satisfying life. And continue to do so. I firmly believe that if everyone came to an understanding of who they are and what is for their highest good, a lot of the struggles that are seen as inevitable at the moment, would entirely disappear. I have this as a life goal - help eliminate struggle for all who wish to do so.

2. Describe your book UN CONFORM: Only the conscious thrive (Core of Steel: The Step by Step Guide to Consciousness) in 30 words or less.

I realise that people need to first let go of conforming to external standards before they can begin to find inner answers. Unconform is about how to let go.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

There are no hard parts. I enjoy writing and the idea of someone seeing something differently and changing their lives positively because of these books is a source of great joy and satisfaction. So no downsides.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

Scott Peck's Road Less Traveled,  Yatri's The Unknown Man and Echkart Tolle's Power of Now - in that order.

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

Not a lot, at the moment :) I think like most authors, we are caught up in the business of writing the books and marketing comes a distant second. Which it really shouldn't, so I'm trying to change that :) I do some social media, I schedule KDP Select free days, I signed on for a few book promos and that's it.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

I am learning more about marketing. I also publish an eMagazine which I put together every month. I'm in the process of developing a new version of my website. And since I do everything myself, I'm pretty busy :) But I do find time for exercise, karaoke and yoga for fun.

7. What are you working on next?

I have Book 2 of the Core of Steel series scheduled for release in May and Book 3 in September, so those are next on the agenda. I also have some smaller books on more focused topics planned in between those. Not to mention restarting my blog. I see a lot of writing up ahead and that's great! :)
