1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I currently live in Northeast, Ohio with my husband Jared and my son, Caleb. Being a mother is the greatest joy and blessing of my life. The love I have for my son is what inspires me to write children's books.

2. Describe your book ‘I Love You to the Moon’ in 30 words or less.

Any loved one can read this book to a young child to let them know how much they are loved. All will enjoy this simple, poetic lullaby.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Writing this sweet book was not difficult. I wrote it in 20 minutes as I drove my son to school.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

The Bible. Allia Zoble Nolan's children's books.

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

A lot of foot work! Going to bookstores and giving them my book (s) and sharing my heart with the Manager. Also, Social Media - facebook, twitter, pinterest, linkedin, instagram, forums, my blog, book signings...

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

I spend time with my family. I play a lot with my 7 year old son, Caleb. I enjoy cooking, baking, and helping others.

7. What are you working on next?

I wrote my second book - Charlie's Gingerbread House last November. My 3rd book - A Little Boy's World will be here Spring or Fall of 2014. I am very excited!!
