1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Corporation (now owned by Hewlett-Packard).

2. Describe your book ‘John Smith Last Known Survivor of the Microsoft Wars’ in 30 words or less.

This is a post-polar-shift novel. You will challenge every assumption you have ever had, from crude oil to religion, while reading it.

3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

The editing.  The story and research came easily.

4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?

Wheel of Time series
Early books in The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant
First three books in Game of Thrones series

5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

Currently it is making the review rounds and going on blog tours.

6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

Software consulting, water well drilling, helping out on the family farm.

7. What are you working on next?

Several books.
A geek essay book "The Phallus of Agile and Other Ruminations"

A possible sequel to John Smith

I'm also kicking around an interlocking trilogy titled "Twenty of Two".  I don't know when or if this will come to fruition.  Unlike most trilogies which start at some point and go forward, or start in the middle then have a prequel and a postquel, this one will be interlocking.  The first book will be very detailed and close to one or more events or sequences of events.  Each book which follows will start before and completely envelop the preceding book's time line until we get the eagle view of the events which caused the first book to happen and what followed because of it.  I like my novel work to be unique and keep the reader guessing where it will take them.
