1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am both a writer and reader of many genres. My love of the written word has helped me grow as a writer and person. What many people may not know about me is that I am a lover of history books, documentaries and researching a variety of topics. I have also been writing stories since I was eight years old.
2. Describe your book ‘Platinum Dust : Part One’ in 30 words or less.
Platinum Dust: Part One is the first in a three part trilogy following one man's chaotic road to redemption, forgiveness and unmatched love.
3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?
The hardest part of writing Platinum Dust is knowing it would eventually come to an end. I grew close to my characters throughout my time writing the story and feel both happy and sad about its conclusion.
4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?
My favorite book to date is 'The Count of Monte Cristo' written by Alexandre Dumas. His writing style is captivating and filled with so much adventure. Every time I read it I find myself more and more inspired to write.
5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?
My marketing strategy consists of researching my target audience. I take full advantage of social media outlets and I also own a blog; Urban Fiction News. Staying consistent and keeping my mind open to creative and new ideas helps as well.
6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?
I am a sucker for a good movie, reading a wide range of books and discovering great new music.
7. What are you working on next?
Right now I am working on finishing up Platinum Dust Part's two and three and also a few movie scripts.
