Tonya Wilson

Tonya Wilson was born in 1986 in Saint Louis, Mo. She grew up in a single family home and experienced some life changing events which lead to her and her siblings being split up throughout the foster care system. She has since aged out of the system and has changed her life around completely. She not only grew up in the system but had the wonderful opportunity to work in the field as well. She is a strong advocate for all youth in the system. Tonya has been working in the field of Social Services since late 2007. She graduated from American Inter-Continental University with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing and is now studying for a degree in Criminal Justice/Social Services. Tonya started writing at the age of 14 and hasn't stopped yet. She is a Entrepreneur/Writer/Advocate for Social Services and the list has yet to go on. Her memoir A Way out is a testament for all youth facing challeging life experences.
