1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I have been a full-time private tutor/author for the past five years. Working not only in the US, but Europe, Asia and Saudi Arabia. When I'm not working I travel and try to spend most of my free time in Thailand. I'm originally from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Telecommunications. I've lived in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Honolulu, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.
2. Describe your book ‘The Homework Sanity System’ in 30 words or less.
This is a four-step process that shows parents how to partner with versus parent their children when it comes to homework. It reduces stress and produces results.
3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?
As always just getting the time to sit down, write and then ultimately hand it off to the editors.
4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?
Green Eggs and Ham. It was the book that made me actually like reading.
5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?
Mostly it is word of mouth. From time-to-time I do radio, print and television interviews. We are currently doing a special promotion of a free download PDF copy of this book. Many get that and then order a print copy.
6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?
Traveling, hanging out with friends and looking for things that make me learn and grow on a daily basis.
7. What are you working on next?
A series of books to help non-English speakers to learn English in a fast and fun way. I just pre-released the first book in the series as a PDF. It's called "500 Words That Will Change Your Life" There are 10 countries in Asia (ASEAN) whose population have to learn to speak English within the next two years. I have also reached out to ESL (English Second Language) learners.
