Scarlett Savage

I'm an award-winning playwright; my plays, "Dear Daddy,
Love, Cassie" and "Not This Girl, Not This Day" have raised both awareness
and funds for Sexual Assault Services. My play "She F*&king Hates Me: A Love
Story" was referred to as the "On Golden Pond" of the new millennium (which
didn't endear me to Pond's author, as I beat him for four different awards with this
piece :) ). My y/a play, "I AM A GIRL!!" was the Dramatic Presentation for the 2008
National Girl Scout Jamboree; I was told by Karen McPherson, the program's director,
that it was the first time in the Jamboree's history that the Girl Scouts were up and
dancing the in aisles instead of falling asleep. Currently, two of my plays are being
transposed into films.
