Anna Tenezi

Anna Tenezi wasborn in Xanthi, Greece. After she finished high school, went to Thessalonica and studied Philosophy, Psychology, Greek Literature, and Art history at Aristotle University of Thessalonica.

After finishing her studies, went to Cyprus, where worked as a Greek Language and Literature teacher in secondary and high schools for almost thirty years.

She married and had tow daughters.

Meanwhile she wrote several books as:

Novels:

1) ‘The light that kills’ (1st edition Self-published, Nicosia-Cyprus, 1982. 2nd edition Diodos Publishing, Athens-Greece, 1984).

2) ‘As you are leaving me’(1st edition Self-published, Nicosia-Cyprus, 1985. 2nd edition Ranis Editions, Limassol-Cyprus, 2006).

For this book she was awarded with the Novel Award by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.

‘About Psychiatric Establishment’ (Aegeon Publishing, Nicosia-Cyprus, 1986).

 

Poetry:

Theeverlastingmusicofsilence’ (Parga Publishing, Nicosia-Cyprus, 2007). The book includes her art photography.

2) Storiesof HodjaNasrentin (performed by ‘TheatroEna’of Nicosia, Cyprus).

 

She has published several articles in Cyprusnewspapers, and also Short stories and Poems in Literature Magazines.
