Jason Horger

Blessed with the world’s most beautiful wife and daughter, Jason, a resident of Lexington, Kentucky, has been a practicing fiction writer and editor since 2003.  He hashed together ten novel-length detective-mystery story manuscripts before banging out the murder/spy spoof Whom Must I Kill to Get Published?, which was then fashioned into a book (which enjoys broad, if not universal, appeal) in Autumn 2009.  He still batters the defenseless keyboard on occasion—whenever the mood and opportunity strikes—and vows that someday, he will write something of substance wherein no character comes to a messy end.

Jason’s introduction to the Liverpool Football Club in the first decade of the 21st century, followed in a few years by an acquaintance with fellow writer and pet owner SarahJane Heckscher-Marquis, can be seen as a craven, double-barreled English assault on his free time and his complacency. The friendship and professional partnership with Ms. Heckscher-Marquis in particular has broadened his horizons to the myriad possibilities of independent publishing, short-story writing, and a revolution in punctuation.
