Kathryn Elizabeth Jones

Before Kathryn was one, she loved to read books--or at least, pretend to. She couldn't walk yet but would crawl to the bottom shelf for what she wanted. Her Grandma says her books were placed near the floor for that very reason, and her mother speaks of Kathryn pulling her favorite book from the shelf and crawling back to the couch with the book safely in tow.
When Kathryn isn't writing she is reading. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kathryn is an avid reader of the scriptures and books of spiritual merit. She is married and enjoys teaching and working with youth and children--including her own three girls.

Kathryn has been a published writer since 1987. She has published various newspaper and magazine articles for teens and adults. "A River of Stones," is her first book.
