Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I live near Fort Knox, Kentucky. I grew up near Chicago, and I have a great love of that city and its history. I’m a hopeless romantic and I have loved storytelling and writing since I was a child.

Describe your book ‘Finding Grace: A Novel’ in 30 words or less.

“Finding Grace” is the story of a young woman struggling to find herself and gain independence from her oppressive upbringing.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Making “Grace” a tough heroine while keeping her likeable.

What books have had the greatest influence on you?

“Jane Eyre” without a doubt. There is no other book that inspires my inner spirit like Charlotte Bronte’s masterpiece.

Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

Press releases are very important. I also do a lot of networking, and I try to have a close relationship with my readers. I also post samples of my work on writers forums.

How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

I work as a receiving associate. I like to travel, and I spend a lot of time doing research for my novels.

What are you working on next?

There is another novel coming, a sequel to “Finding Grace.” It should be published next spring.
