Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I started my writing career
when I was a freshman at
Describe your book ‘Untitled*’ in 30 words or less.
Who Says a White Boy Can't Play the Blues? Aiden
knows he can. Music is his destiny. This belief takes him on a journey
only music can go.
What was the hardest part of writing your book?
Stepping out of my comfort zone. Before
Untitled* I was writing urban romance novels and about situations I had
experienced first hand. With Untitled*, I knew absolutely nothing about
guitars or the music industry. All I knew is that I like guitar players
and wanted to write a book that everyone could relate too. This book
required tons of research before I even wrote the first chapter and then more
as the writing progressed.
What books have had the greatest influence on you?
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale
Hurston, Disappearing Acts by Terry McMillian, American Star by Jackie Collins
and The Art of War by Sun Tzu
Briefly share with us what you do to market your
book?
I market my books by using my social media
platforms. I tweet about them, cross promote with other authors,
participate in Blog Tours, guest blog, and interviews.
How do you spend your time when you are not
writing?
When I'm not
writing? I don't think I'm ever not writing something. When I'm not
working on a blog, I blog alot, especially on tumblr. I also
spend time with my friends and family, just hanging out. I like music
alot so I go to alot of concerts and small shows.
What are you working on next?
I'm currently working on the follow up book to Untitled* which ironically is still untitled. It's just in the beginning phases. I'm also spending time researching blog tours because I would love to do another soon.
