Marsha Diane Arnold has
been called "a born storyteller" by the media. Her books, including Heart of a Tiger, The Pumpkin Runner, Roar of a Snore, and Prancing, Dancing Lily have
won multiple awards, including Smithsonian Notable Book and IRA Distinguished
Book. Marsha says, "My four great loves are family, nature, travel,
and books and I often combine these in my writing." She is the only
children's author ever invited to be part of Sequoia Parks Foundation
"Artists in the Back Country" program. From California to
Florida to Germany to Kenya, she travels nationally and internationally as a visiting
author to students around the globe. Currently she's working on a picture
book about the Galapagos Islands, which she visited in 2007.
