Interview

Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I have a few miles on me, but I’m still running down the Road of Life pretty well. I’ve been blessed with children who are successfully driving down their own paths and a husband who is still a reliable old clunker.

Describe your book ‘Devil Moon: A Mystic Romance’ in 30 words or less.

Slightly damaged people brought together by a mischievous moon and a friendly spirit.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Wondering what would happen next. “Moon” arose from the recesses of my creative-subconscious. The characters pretty much wrote the story and I just tried to get the words right.

What books have had the greatest influence on you?

“The Healing Light” by Agnes Sanford opened my mind to the unseen world and the power of co-creation with spirit.

Briefly share with us what you do to market your books?

I troll the Internet for reader hang-outs. I’m on Twitter, Facebook, Kindleboards, Scribd, Author’s Den and buy Blog Review-site sponsorships. I send out a newsletter via Constant Contact. Of course, I refer readers to my excerpts at BookBuzzr!

How do you spend your time when you are not writing?

Swimming and playing my piano are my favorite ways to break away from the Monster Computer. I also have great gal friends who are always up for lunch.

What are you working on next?

I’m breaking from convention with a spiritual memoir entitled “Ever-Flowing Streams: Christ, Reiki, Reincarnation & Me.” It’s sure to rattle a few chains.
